Owner Shawn Hout was in the plumbing business for sixteen years before starting Precision Plumbing in 2006. Word-of-mouth advertising has made him extremely busy the last few years, and now the Precision crew includes Shawn and his son Derek.

In 2011 Precision Plumbing worked on the the upstairs 715 renovation as well as the new Burger King on 6th, and from that is now working on Burger Kings outside of Lawrence.
