Volunteer Needs / Social Media Specialist needed to support local Medical Reserve Corps unit
The Social Media Specialist will be primarily responsible for supporting social media properties (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) of Douglas County Medical Reserve Corps, including monitoring, posting, and content development.
The Social Media Specialist will be a passionate advocate for and represent the best interests of the Douglas County Medical Reserve Corps; have accountability for initiating, leading, guiding, and moderating discussion topics through online media; monitor online community activities and implement initiatives focused on online community growth, engagement and expansion; and represent the voice of Douglas County Medical Reserve Corps.
The Social Media Specialist will work as part of a Social Media Team to plan, implement, study, and otherwise advance the social media strategy of Douglas County Medical Reserve Corps.
Medical Reserve Corps volunteers are required to complete orientation training as well as training in personal and family preparedness and incident management and command.
