Nancy Patricia McCafferty and Jeremy Jay Douglas Pine, both of Lawrence, were married May 28, 2011, at Corpus Christi Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. Michael Mulvany officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Betsy McCafferty, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Beth Pine, and Jay and Pam Pine, all of Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Sara Coon. Best man was Eric Pine. Bridesmaids were Emily Hilding, Sara Kapfer-Dicker and Natalie Wilkins. Groomsmen were Tristan McCafferty, Howard Ballard and Brandon Harmon. Flower girl was Amy Lock. Lector was Jim Lock. Reader was Don Guidas. Cantor was Jill Kennedy. Organist was Lisa Roush. Greeter was Jamie Stanclist. Reception musicians were John Lomas and Bill Crahan.
A reception was given at Alvamar Country Club.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Washburn University in 2008 and is a certified personal trainer at Body Boutique in Lawrence.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence High and is a salesman for Laird Noller Hyundai in Lawrence.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of Daniel and Paula Diepenbrock, Liberal. He is a 2000 graduate of Liberal High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Knox College in 2004, a master’s degree in journalism from Kansas University in 2010, and is the crime and courts reporter for the Lawrence Journal-World.
The couple plan a Nov. 5, 2011, wedding at First United Methodist Church in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of Robert Elder, Wichita, and Sharon Ferguson Elder, Topeka. He is a 2006 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School. He earned his A+ and Net+ certification from Wichita Technical Institute in 2009 and is an installation technician for AVI in Lenexa.
The couple plan a Sept. 17, 2011, wedding at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University.
