The bride is the daughter of Melvin and Gini Augustine, Ellis. The groom is the son of Arthur and June Rasmussen, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Norman and Darlene Musick, Eudora, will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a family gathering this spring.
Norman Musick and Darlene Workman were married Jan. 12, 1957, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence.
Norman graduated from Lawrence High School and retired in 2003 as service manager for Deems Farm Equipment after 43 years.
Darlene also graduated from LHS and was assistant vice president at Kaw Valley Bank, Eudora, for 38 years. She retired in 2002.
Their children are Candace Dardis, Marietta, Ga.; and Jeanette Born and Susan Carnagie, both of Eudora. They have seven grandchildren.

Denzil and Marlene Hackathorn, Lecompton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering this spring.
They were married Jan. 5, 1957, at the Glassport Assembly of God Church in Glassport, Pa.
Denzil was employed as a tire builder and mechanic at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. plant in Topeka for 45 years. He retired in February 2001. The couple now raise quarter horses as a hobby on their farm.
Their children are John Hackathorn and wife Susie, Lecompton; Marlene Jolly and husband David, Ozawkie; and Denzil "Denny" Hackathorn and wife Kathy, Perry.
They have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The bride is the daughter of Frank Z. Nartowicz, Southfield, Mich., and Chris and Marion Anderson, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Reese H. Jr. and Ada Maxine Hays, Hill City.

The Brecheisens were married Jan. 17, 1957, at the First Church of the Nazarene.
Jay Dee is a graduate of Baldwin High School and worked for Farmers Co-op and Farmland Industries for 41 years. He retired in August 2000.
Barbara is a graduate of Lawrence High School and worked as a secretary at Vinland Elementary School for 18 years. She retired in 2003.
Their children are Penny Baxter, JoAnne Polk and Robyn Brecheisen, all of Lawrence; Jeri Pringle, Baldwin City; and Deena Green, Kansas City, Kan.
They have nine grandchildren.
