Southern Miss defeats Jayhawks, 31-16
Last year Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing threw for over 300 yards against Southern Miss and it was barely enough. The Jayhawks weren't so lucky Saturday night.

New state stamp revealed at fair
The new Kansas postage stamp was revealed Friday at the Kansas State Fair. The stamp celebrates the state's 150th birthday and features an old windmill and new wind turbines.
