KU careers culminate for graduates
KU graduates made their way down the hill for the university's 2010 commencement ceremony. The weather held off long enough for the ceremony to proceed in Memorial Stadium.

Oil spill cleanup aided by llama fur
A local family spent the day shaving their pack of six llamas to help aid the oil spill cleanup. Llama fur has little oil and can hold a good amount.

Wounded warriors graduate from KU
Twelve members of the Wounded Warriors Initiative graduated from KU Sunday. The program will add two new military members in the coming fall.

K-State holds year-end rave party
Students at Kansas State University organized and executed a flash rave dance party on their campus. The idea for the rave was taken from similar events at other colleges.

KU baseball drops two to Wildcats
The Jayhawks came up short in their weekend series against Kansas State. KU lost 8-5 Sunday and dropped two of three in the rivalry series.

Free State, LHS get tournament seeds
Lawrence High and Free State's baseball teams learned their seedings in the regional tournament. If both play well, both schools could reach the state tournament held at Hoglund Ballpark.
