Tonganoxie approved Monday a new school fee schedule for the district. The fee plan for next year will not include a fee for out-of-district families.

Power outage leaves downtown in dark
A lightning strike is suspected to have caused thousands of Douglas County residents to lose power Monday morning. Businesses did what they could to operate until the power was restored.
