Oral cancer survivor: Don’t use tobacco

Gruen Von Behrens, 32, of Illinois, encourages young adults to not use chewing tobacco or smoke. He began using chewing tobacco at age 13 and by age 17 was diagnosed with oral cancer. He was given a 20 percent chance of surviving. Four out of five people don’t survive. He has had about 40 surgeries.
