Lawsuit filed against smoking ban

Some area businesses feel the impending smoking ban unfairly discriminates against newer establishments by not allowing smoking indoors. A bar in Tonganoxie is preparing for the ban by building an outdoor patio but is less than pleased with what the ban may mean for business.

District attorney looking to expedite case

School board, teachers reach deal
