City of Wamego fighting economic downtown with connection to classic movie
The city is home to the Oz Museum, Oz Winery and other Wizard of Oz-related destinations. Wamego is expanding on this theme by building a yellow brick road in the town, painting a water tower to look like the wizard's hot air balloon and putting witch legs under a building.
