A man with a gun robbed the North Lawrence Sonic early Sunday morning. The suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash and personal property.

Man arrested outside Phoggy Dog
A 25-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Sunday morning after waving a gun at people and drunk driving. The man was charged with a DUI and aggravated assault.

KU basketball wins, looks ahead
After handling Iowa State easily, the men's team looks to do the same at home against border rival Missouri on Monday. The Jayhawks have won more than 50 straight games at home.

Bill Dann is the son of Anne "Petey" Cerf, co-founder of the LMH Endowment Association. Dann, a longtime Lawrence resident, has continued his mother's tradition of supporting the hospital through substantial gifts and visits to the LMH cafeteria.

Police arrested a 42-year-old man Sunday morning after he caused several accidents. The man was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital and will be charged with a number of driving violations.

Man arrested after incident outside Phoggy Dog
A 25-year-old Lawrence man was arrested after pointing a gun at someone outside the Phoggy Dog bar. The man tried to flee the scene and crashed the truck he was driving.
