Light bands of snow expected for the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures will drop from the mid teens to about 10 degrees at 9 p.m. with a light northwest wind between 5-10 mph as our bands of snow come to an end and skies begin to clear.
Use caution as you head out this evening as bands of light to moderate snow are expected along area highways. Most areas will experience slick spots and slushy or wet roadways for the evening commute. Expect much slower traffic heading into downtown Kansas City with temperatures staying in the mid to low teens as you head home from work.
