KU gameday traffic on the turnpike
Ongoing construction at the Kansas Turnpike Authority's West Lawrence interchange will force some KU fans to rethink their ways into and out of town for football games this season. Officials from the turnpike authority, law-enforcement agencies and others involved in dealing with such traffic issues met Friday in Lawrence to discuss options for helping ease confusion and -- they hope -- frustration on game days.
