After a slow start, the Jayhawks shot their way to a five-point lead by half time. Fans who chose to watch the game at Allen Fieldhouse were excited by every Jayhawk shot and cheered loudly for their team.

2000+ fans filled Allen Fieldhouse to watch the Jayhawks play Memphis in San Antonio. Over 70 Kansas Highway patrol cars filled the downtown parking garage roof ready for anything.

Jayhawks prepare for KU-Memphis game at Allen Fieldhouse
Some KU fans arrived at Allen Fieldhouse at 4:45 this morning to wait in line for seats to tonight's KU-Memphis game. Of course, the game is at the Alamodome in San Antonio, but these fans wanted to see the game on Allen Fieldhouse's big boards.

Darcy Stefanik and Alexis Kruse, KU juniors, waited outside Quinton's for the game to start. Downtown bars were already starting to fill up at noon.
