- How dirty are the swimming lakes, especially Lone Star and Clinton lakes? Are septic systems drained into the lakes?
- When will that waterline project on Iowa Street be finished, so that lane can be back open for traffic? And how about Harvard Road, from Iowa to Highland Drive? What’s the schedule there?
Tuesday, June 29
- Why doesn't the city have the Bill Self golf tournament Friday morning instead of Friday afternoon? It seems to me they would double the revenue by having it in the morning and have public play for the rest of the day.
- Who does the lawn care at the old Grant School? Is he the same person who maintains the roads? Was the lawn care put up for bid?
Monday, June 28
- Are there any streets in east Lawrence that are slated for some major repairs or repaving soon?

- What’s the latest on how employees of the solid waste department are being paid? Are they still being paid for 8 hours when some days they do not work 8 hours.
- Why does the biking/walking path on Clinton Parkway have to be replaced again? It seems like they did that a couple of years ago. Also, the drainage areas along the road are being replaced again. I’m confused as to why these areas have to be replaced again every couple of years. It seems like we have other areas in need of repair with all of the potholes and such.
Sunday, June 20
- What’s the rule or law regarding turning left on a red light, once you’ve already pulled into the intersection? I was pulled over for turning left on red. If you pull into the intersection, and the light turns red while you’re there, aren’t you supposed to complete your turn?

- Last summer the curbs on Lawrence Avenue, south of Harvard, were replaced. A large machine was used to remove the old curbs and damaged the sidewalk, which borders the golf course. Will the city be repairing the sidewalk soon?

- Are Tennessee and Kentucky streets, between Sixth and 19th streets, scheduled to be resurfaced soon? And Connecticut Street between Seventh and 14th streets is literally falling apart. When is that going to be repaired?
