- The intersection at 27th Street and Wakarusa Drive has never been finished. The top has been removed, there’s no curbing, a huge hole and no turning lanes. It’s a dirt road with a lot of traffic. Are there any plans to finish it?

Who’s in charge of the maintenance for this road? Is it in the city limits? Are there any future plans to have it hard surfaced?
- I went to the first LHS football game and the seats were stone slab. Do they intend on putting any other benches in the stadium?

- When is the city going to re-line the streets that have numerous tar patches? The lines aren’t visible in the rain and it presents a safety hazard. There are a lot of new drivers in town. I’ve seen young people cross over the lines because they can’t see them.

- I read the story about the Lawrence Municipal Airport possibly becoming the site of a new jet helicopter business. I assume the company will buy the jet fuel at the Lawrence airport. Since the airport is owned by the city but operated by a private company, does the city get to keep a portion of the fuel sales revenue.
