- What are the dates the KU basketball team will play in the Las Vegas tournament?
- Deffenbaugh has recycling containers at several schools. Do the schools receive any money for having them on their property?

- Does Lawrence have a “ghost walk” tour? Supposedly there’s a ghost at the Eldridge Hotel.
- I’ve driven by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America headquarters, but I don't really know what it is. What is it?

- I see the Eldridge is hosting a music event in the vacant lot adjacent to the hotel. Does the hotel have any plans to develop that lot in the future?
- Has anyone seen any hummingbirds this year, or are they just late in coming through?

- What happened to the “Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane” picture that used to be in Danforth Chapel? A call was made over a year ago about the picture. The response was it was being cleaned and would be re-hung. But it’s still not there.
- I was wondering whether the city places any restrictions on when street vendors can operate. I notice that there aren’t any open late at night.

- Can you tell me who did the moving sculpture outside City Hall, and when it was installed? Also, what’s it called?
- Is there a city law or ordinance about children riding bikes, Rollerblading or etc., in a public street?

- On June 18, several dogs were sent to the Lawrence Humane Society from a storm-damaged shelter in Hutchinson and another shelter in Pratt. How many of those dogs have been adopted?
- I saw a poster downtown about free HIV testing, but I didn’t notice where it was. Can you tell me?

- I was told there was no water available when I was at the Eagle Bend Golf Course. Is this temporary or permanent?
- What steps does a person have to take to have a speed bump placed on a residential street? A lot of people speed down our street, and we have a day care here.

- Can people skinny dip or sunbathe in the nude in the privacy of their own fenced-in back yard, or would it be considered indecent exposure?
- I’ve been receiving unsolicited phone calls from Lynn Jenkins. Is there a phone number I can call to have the calls stopped?

- Why isn’t the left turn arrow signal ever used at the intersection on Folks Road and Sixth Street?
- Why has the Kansas Turnpike Authority built roundabouts on both Lawrence exits? It seems more expensive compared with what they would have accomplished with a couple of stop signs.

- Some Lawrence grade schools’ PTO organizations are collecting Hy-Vee grocery receipts. In return, Hy-Vee gives the school district money. The money doesn’t appear to be going to the school and the district can’t seem to explain. Where is it going?
- Why does Sunflower Broadband interrupt our viewing for national weather alerts that are in other counties besides Douglas?

- I saw a Bishop Seabury Academy ad where the class received 55 acceptances and more than $2 million in scholarships and grant offers. Where can I find a list of the scholarship and grant offers?
- Due to budget issues, the state has not funded a request from Douglas County judges for a magistrate judge. What is the typical workload for the county-funded pro tem judge in Douglas County?

- I was wondering what the turnout was like for Walterpalooza?

- I saw in the article about Brady Morningstar’s stress fracture that it’s KU’s policy not to name the physician who did his surgery. Why won’t they name him or her?
- I’ve heard a lot about Relay for Life of Douglas County and how it raises money for the American Cancer Society. I was wondering what are the effects of cancer in Kansas?

- Have the Sebeliuses moved out of the governor’s mansion? If so, who’s living there now?
- Why are the rainfall totals in the newspaper different from what we see on the towercam information on Channel 6?

- Are there any security cameras in the downtown parking garage. Someone threw rocks and broke out the rear window of my daughter’s car. Is there any chance they were caught on camera?
- Is night fishing available at city lakes such as the ones at 27th Street and Crossgate Drive and the YSI soccer fields?

- The crosswalk island next to the Malls Shopping Center doesn’t have any reflective tape on the curbing. It’s been hit by several people. When will the city put some reflective tape on the new island? There’s another crosswalk island about a block away that has plenty of reflective tape.
- Is there a reason why the city won’t resurface 31st Street? It’s to the point where it’s becoming too dangerous to drive.

- I noticed Douglas County installed a new tornado warning siren about a year ago in the 1200 block of North 1100 Road. Are there plans to install more sirens in the county?
- If you are going north/south on Monterey Way at the roundabout to Harvard, shouldn’t you signal since you’re turning off a through street onto a side street?

- I heard an expert say this week that 47 states are facing budget shortfalls. Which ones aren’t?

- I heard there were tunnels from the Bowersock Dam that led to downtown businesses underground. They were used to supply water to the businesses in the early years. Is this true?

- For Christmas, we received some gift certificates from Downtown Lawrence Inc. We went to several restaurants that would not accept them. Is the gift certificate program still in existence?
