Why don't writers get stuff correct. How about titling this "Should the city impose jail sentences for illegally possessing guns near bars?"

Give an inch, and they will take a mile. There is absolutely no reason why guns should even be prohibited inside the bar, so long as the person carrying the firearm is not consuming. This mayor is obviously a communist idiot who doesn't trust the people who elected him into office.

gun control is treason. see american constitution, amendment 2.
stop pretending that laws prevent crime, they do not.
punishments prevent crime, if they're harsh enough.
We have enough police, prisons, and lawyers, especially lawyers. Criminal violence should be punished and non violent activity that harms no one should be ignored.
If criminals commit violent acts, hang them. They won't do it again and I won't be taxed to feed them. If ordinary citizens want guns for self protection, let them be, they're not hurting anyone.
Why is freedom so frightening to what are supposed to be citizens? Have they forgotten what it means? I'm not going to respect frightened sheep and criminals won't either. Try acting like life is worth living, and that the quality of freedom MEANS something. .
Give me liberty or give me death.
