Sam Brownback and members of the state’s congressional delegation announced Wednesday that the move indicated the federal department is committed to building the $1.14 billion National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility.

Erwin and Wilma Morgan don’t let the cold prevent them from exercising Wednesday in the 700 block of North Street. The couple, who have been married 70 years, use special walkers that Erwin made so they don’t have to bend as much as traditional walkers require.
