- Lawrence High School graduate Capt. John M. Barbee will be a part of history Monday during the 57th Presidential Inauguration Parade in Washington, D.C. Barbee will oversee more than 90 soldiers marching with the U.S. Army Reserve in the parade. “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to do this,” Barbee, LHS class of 1986, said. “Not many people can say that they were asked to be a part of the actual inauguration.” By Meagan Thomas
