A few of the 2010-2011 programs included: •"A History of Lawrence," a review of the exciting heritage of our community and region including field trips to local sites of historical significance. •"Meet Me at the Lied" small group meetings with performers and experts about music, theatre, opera, and dance coordinated with upcoming shows and productions. •Tours of the exhibits at the Spencer Museum of Art on the KU campus and the Lawrence Arts Center downtown. •Many presentations by the Kansas Humanaties Council The KU School of Engineering Ecohawks The Voice of NASA's Mission Control - Eileen Hawley America's First Ladies A History of Kansas on the Silver Screen •Out-of-town trips have included visits to the Eisenhower and Truman Libraries, art museums, ballet, theatrical productions, the symphony, and other events in Kansas City, St. Joseph, Topeka and Manhattan.
