TAKE YOUR DOG TO WORK DAY

They say “every dog has its day.” You and/or your business can help celebrate every dog’s special day by participating in Take Your Dog to Work Day. Even if dogs cannot be present in your workplace, you still can play a vital role. If you own a business or manage a company, please consider participating in Take Your Dog to Work Day. If you are an employee, please encourage your employer to participate.
WHAT IS TAKE YOUR DOG TO WORK DAY?
Take Your Dog to Work Day promotes a fun and uniquely positive interaction between people and dogs and recognizes the love and happiness these animals bring to our lives. By participating in this event, businesses and employers will help:
Raise awareness about homeless pets;
Educate the community about shelter dogs;
Promote adoptions from the Lawrence Humane Society;
Celebrate that special bond between dogs and their people.
