Caroline graduated summa cum laude from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She earned her CPA certificate in 2006. Since then she has primarily focused on income taxation, tax planning, reviews, and business services. She is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Caroline, along with her husband Ryan, owns and operates Two Sisters Farm. The farm supplies Lawrence and the surrounding areas with fresh produce and eggs 365 days a year. Running this farm has given her a first-hand perspective on what it means to be a small business owner, and it also has provided her with extensive knowledge in the unique tax issues that many farmers face.
The bulk of Caroline's practice consists of individuals and small businesses located in the Lawrence community. She enjoys assisting her clients with all financials aspects of running their business and has clients in many industries and professions including restaurants, dentistry, manufacturing, rental management, teaching, contractors, chiropractors, legal services, design services, non-profits, farmers, homeowners associations, and even a hydro-electric power plant company.
Caroline currently serves on the Taxation Committee for the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a graduate of the 2010 Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants "20 up to 40" leadership program and was nominated as a 2011 "Woman to Watch" from the organization. She is the past Treasurer of the Lawrence non-profit organization Tenants to Homeowners.
