Freda Trenae Neal and Ryan Lucas McPhail, both of Lawrence, were married Feb. 25, 2012, at Mustard Seed Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. Paul Taylor officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Rance and Earnestine Neal, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Gerry and Marcia McPhail, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Kenyetta Turner. Best man was Michael Blanck. Bridesmaids were Amy Kennedy, Kirsten Brown and Yolanda Neal. Groomsmen were Ashley Oelschlaeger, Kevin Bird, Robb McPhail and Randy McPhail. Flower girl was Samyra Crawford. Ringbearer was Devin Neal. Guestbook attendant was Robyn Walker.
A reception followed at Maceli’s.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker University in 2011.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Free State High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2003.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The future bride is the daughter of Randy and Jean Christensen, Mason City, Iowa. She is a graduate of Mason City High School. She earned a doctorate of pharmacy degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and is employed at O’Brien Pharmacy in Mission.

The future groom is the son of John and Lori Leifer, Shawnee, and Anne Owen and Mark Hodges, Lawrence. He is a graduate of Lawrence High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Kansas University, and is a computer programmer at Mediaphormedia in Lawrence.
The couple plan a Sept. 15, 2012, wedding at Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka.

The future groom is the son of Hossein and Fataneh Mortazavi, Tehran. He is a 1995 graduate of Kamal High School in Tehran. He earned a doctorate in medicine from Shahid Beheshti School of Medicine 2003 in Tehran and is a psychiatry resident at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
The couple plan an Oct. 27, 2012, wedding at The Grove in downtown Houston.
