Wilson and Winfrey
Haley Wilson, Perry, and Jeremy Winfrey, Basehor, were married June 5, 2010, at Spirit Lake in Perry, with the Rev. Don Cunningham officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Marcia Wilson, Perry. The groom is the son of Bob and Melony Lutz, Tonganoxie, and the late Jim Winfrey.
Maid of honor was Shannon Heston. Best men were Brice Beshara and Eric Kennedy. Emily Leiker was the bridesmaid, and Casey Jones was the groomsman. Flower girls were Emmerson Winfrey and Harper Heston. Ringbearer was Barrett Heston. Ushers were Brad Heston and Connor Lyle.
A reception was held at Spirit Lake.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in business from Kansas University in 2010. She is a Web publisher for AEG Holdings in Oklahoma City.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Basehor-Linwood High School and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in business from Kansas University in 2009. He is a senior treasury management analyst for UMB Bank in Oklahoma City.
The couple reside in Yukon, Okla.
Bidwell and Wille
Suzanne Bidwell, Reston, Va., and Matthew Wille, Lamberton, Minn., were married June 16, 2010, in Excelsior, Minn. The bride’s aunt, Janis Hirsch, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Peter and Carol Bidwell, Tucson, Ariz. The groom is the son of Dave and Barb Wille, Lamberton, Minn.
Maid of honor was Shannon Andrews. Best man was Nick Lingle. Bridesmaids were Amy Yates, Kara Haroldson, Chris Mason and Sara Attebery Slocum. Groomsmen were Charlie Shulman, TJ Mlnarik, Ben Menk and Bryan Wille.
A lakeside reception was held at Bayview Event Center in Excelsior, Minn.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of South Lakes High School in Reston, Va. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Kansas University in 1999 and 2003. She worked at KVC Behavioral Healthcare in Lawrence and as a bartender at Cadillac Ranch and currently is a social worker with Dakota County Social Services.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Red Rock Central High School in Lamberton, Minn., and received a culinary arts degree from South Central Technical College. He currently is the head chef at Nordstrom’s Cafe at the Mall of America.
The couple reside in Savage, Minn.
Williams and Turner
Carrie Williams, Baldwin City, and Clay Turner, Rolla, Mo., were married Oct. 2, 2010, in the Reno Methodist Church near Tonganoxie with the Rev. Kirby Hayes officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Krystal Williams, Baldwin City. The groom is the son of Ron and Linda Turner, Rolla.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Baldwin High School and received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Kansas University in 2007. She is pursuing a master’s degree in anthropology at George Washington University and is a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Rolla High School and a 1996 graduate of Missouri State University. He is a major in the U.S. Army.
The couple reside in Alexandria, Va.
Labrador and Babcock
Bianca Babcock, Lawrence, and Chris Labrador, New Kensington, Pa., were married Oct. 16, 2010, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. Canon David Kent officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Michelle Babcock, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Santiago and Jane Labrador, New Kensington.
Maid of honor was Phaedra Loftis. Best man was Greg Labrador. Bridesmaids were Diane Wolfgram, Zoe Barlow, Nandini MacMillan and Rachel Buerman. Groomsmen were Ian Babcock, Ryan Fox, Dave Corn and Jay Carroll.

A reception was held in the Crystal Ballroom at the Eldridge Hotel.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School and attended Kansas University. She is area administrator for Kennewick-Richland Young Life and serves as a precinct committeewoman in Kennewick, Wash.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Valley High School in New Kensington and received a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2002 from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa. He is a pharmaceutical sales representative for Shire Pharmaceuticals.
The couple reside in Kennewick, Wash.
Higgins and Peeples
Gerald Peeples, Columbiana, Ala., and Judy Peeples, Kansas City, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sonya Renee Peeples, Overland Park, to Lonnie James Higgins, Edwardsville.

He is a graduate of Lawrence High School and received his aviation mechanics degree from the Aviation Institute of Maintenance and achieved certification by the Federal Aviation Administration. He currently works for Blue Bell Corp.

The future groom is the son of Ralph and Sara Lewis, Prairie Village. He is a 2003 graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international studies in 2007 from KU, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He receive his Juris Doctor degree in 2010 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he is studying for a Master of Laws degree in taxation. He is associate counsel with Americo Financial Life, in Kansas City, Mo.
