The future groom is the son of Rick and Debra Masur, Wichita, and Judy Masur, Baldwin City. He is a 2004 graduate of Baldwin High School and is employed by Mercer Machine & Performance in Lawrence.
The couple plan a June 4, 2011, wedding at Stony Point Hall in Baldwin City.

John and Debbie McDonald, Lawrence, along with Dr. Kevin and Karen Wall, Manhattan, announce the engagement of their children, Elise McDonald, Lawrence, and Aaron Wall, Manhattan.
The future bride is a 2005 graduate of Lawrence High School, a 2009 graduate of Emporia State University and is an elementary physical education teacher for Manhattan-Ogden USD 383.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Manhattan High School, a May graduate of Emporia State University, and is an elementary physical education teacher for Geary County USD 475.
The couple plan a July 16, 2011, wedding at First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan.

Joe Ryan, Lawrence, and Angie Reiling, McLouth, announce the engagement of their daughter, Nellie Ryan, Lawrence, to Alex Betzen, Olathe.
The future bride is a 2004 graduate of Free State High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from Kansas State University in 2008, a Master of Business Administration from K-State in May, and is an analyst for internal communications at ConocoPhillips in Houston.
The future groom is the son of Fred and Michelle Betzen, Olathe. He is a 2004 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from K-State in 2007, and plans to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from K-State in May 2011.
The couple plan a May 28, 2011, wedding at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Shawnee.

Lloyd and Carolyn Wulfkuhle, Lecompton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family with a soup dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Stull United Methodist Church Faith and Friendship Center, 1596 E. 250 Road.
The couple were married Nov. 23, 1960, in Lawrence.
The celebration will be hosted by their children Ron and Margie Wulfkuhle, Omaha, Neb., and Rita and Chris Lesser and David and Shelly Wulfkuhle, all of Lecompton.
They have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The couple request no gifts.

J.C. and Mary Lou Brown, Baldwin City, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday with a family dinner.
J.C. Brown and Mary Lou Stuke were married Nov. 29, 1950, at St. James Church in Wetmore.
Their children and spouses are Dan and Sheryl Brown, Laura and Greg Torneden, and Rob and Michelle Brown, all of Overbrook; Joe Brown, Beaumont, Texas; David and Twilla Brown, and Mark and Sherri Brown, all of Baldwin City; and Anthony and Susie Brown, Eudora.
They have 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The bride is the daughter of Pamela Williams, Kansas City, Kan., and the late Tommie Williams.
The groom is the son of Virgil and Renee Harrod, Lawrence.
The bride was given away by her brother, Alphonso Williams. Maid of honor was Angela Williams. Best man was Joe Harrod. Bridesmaids were Tammy Ledbetter, Cori Harrod, Rachel Myers and Brandy Harrod. Groomsmen were Michael Lopez, Tim Lopez, Tim Ledbetter and Nathan Olds. Ringerbearers were Jake Ledbetter and Sammy Ledbetter. Flower girls were Amora Williams and Aniya Williams.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Schlagle High School and is a florist in Olathe.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Lawrence High School and is an union insulator in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

The groom is also a 2005 graduate of FSHS. He is studying for a medical laboratory technology degree at Barton County Community College and works in the laboratory at LMH.

The future bride was home-schooled and graduated in 2007. She is a senior at Washburn University, with a double major in mass media and music, and plans to graduate in 2012. She is an administrative assistant for the Pregnancy Care Center of Lawrence.
The future groom was also home-schooled and graduated in 2007, and has been working in the energy industry for over five years.
The couple plan a June 18, 2011, wedding in Baldwin City.
