Anne Weltmer and Jonathan Kealing, both of Lawrence, were married May 8, 2010, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. John Schmeidler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John Weltmer and Patty McGrew, both of Lawrence.
The groom is the son of John and Debby Kealing, Chesterfield, Mo.
Maid of honor was Jackie Austin. Best men were Justin Kealing and Jon Larance. Bridesmaids were Gabriella Souza, Lauren Mayhew, Amanda Mayhew and Jenna Kealing. Groomsmen were Julian Grass, Adam Grace and Jimmy Sevcik. Ushers were Jared Silsby, Andrew Campbell, John Michael McGrew and Ryan Robinson. Candlelighters were Jill Kealing and Adam Eudaly. Flower girl was Laura Clymer. Ringbearer was Tanner Gould. Program attendants were Stella Clymer and Molly Gould. Gift book attendants were Nicole McGrew and Joanna Wakeman.
A reception was given at Spring Hill Suites in Lawrence.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and history from Kansas University in 2007 and a juris doctor from KU School of Law in May.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Parkway Central High School and earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science from KU in 2007.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Jessica Elyse Wenberg and Eric James Green, both of Olathe, were married June 20, 2010, at South Park gazebo in Lawrence, with Helen Svoboda-Barber, godmother of the bride, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Alan Wenberg, Menomonee Falls, Wis., and Rebecca Wenberg, Overland Park.
The groom is the son of Paul and Debra Green, Olathe.
Maid of honor was Ashley Wenberg. Best man was Steven Green. Bridesmaids were Molly Murray, Tera Carlile, Jenna Summerly, Leslie Wicksted and Shannon Green. Groomsmen were Brian Girten, David Summerly and Nathan Murray. Ringbearer was Cash Murray. Flower girl was Julie Summerly. Assistant to the bride and groom was Kristopher Wenberg.
A reception was given at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lawrence.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Olathe East High School. She earned a unified early childhood bachelor’s degree in education from Kansas University in 2008 and is working toward an adaptive special education master’s degree in education from KU. She was a third- and fourth-grade special education teacher at Hillcrest School for the 2009-2010 school year and will be a primary special education teacher at Prairie Park School for the 2010-2011 school year.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Olathe South High School. He is working toward an associate degree in general studies from Johnson County Community College and is a deli associate at Checkers in Lawrence.
The couple reside in Eudora.

Jessica Wilson and JD Snow, both of Lawrence, were married May 1, 2010, at the historic Taylor barn in Lawrence with the Rev. Jim Dyer officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Greg Wilson, De Soto, and Beverly Turpin, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Beverly Longoria, California, and the late Chuck Snow.
Best man was Joseph Snow. Bridesmaid was Kiley Snow. Flower girl was Macy Fanning. Ushers were Charlie Snow and Jamie Prager.
A reception followed at the Taylor barn.
The bride is a graduate of Free State High School and Johnson County Community College and is employed at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
The groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School and is employed at Laird Noller Ford.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The future bride is a 2005 graduate of Larned High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Kansas University in 2009 and is employed by the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence.
The future groom is the son of Linda Kohls, Ellsworth, and the late Ralph Kohls. He is a 1998 graduate of Ellsworth High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from KU in 2003 and a doctorate of physical therapy from KU Medical Center in 2008 and is employed by Athletic and Rehabilitation Center.
The couple plan Aug. 28, 2010, wedding at Topeka Bible Church.

The future bride attended Jefferson County North schools until her sophomore year and is a 2008 graduate of Hiawatha High School. She is employed by Highland Health and Rehabilitation Center in Highland.
The future groom is the son of Mark and Lisa Costa, Hiawatha. He is a 2007 graduate of Hiawatha High School and is employed by Maple Heights Nursing Center in Hiawatha.
The couple plan a July 24, 2010, wedding at The Christian Center in Hiawatha.

The future bride is the daughter of Michael Wendler, Lyons, and Susie Morse, Wichita.
The future groom is the son of Rose Proctor, Parsons, and the late Gordon Proctor.
The couple plan an Aug. 28, 2010, wedding at Clinton Park.
Anniversary

William and Beverly Van Dyke
William and Beverly Van Dyke, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner, given by their children, on Sunday.
Bill Van Dyke and Beverly Bahnmaier were married June 4, 1950, at the United Methodist Church in Lecompton.
Bill is originally from Battle Creek, Mich. He graduated from Ottawa University, worked at Kansas Color Press for 30 years and then worked as a pressman for the Kansas University School of Education for six years.
Beverly is a graduate of Lecompton High School and Ottawa University. She taught at New York, Woodlawn and East Heights schools in Lawrence for 30 years.
They have two daughters, Jan Workman and husband Mark, and Barbara Van Dyke, all of Lawrence; a son, Nelson; and four grandchildren. A son, David, died in 2005, and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Van Dyke, died in February.
The couple request no gifts.

Clinton and Billie Laughlin
Clinton and Billie Laughlin, Lawrence, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 8.
Clinton Laughlin and Billie Hahn were married April 8, 1950, in Lawrence.
Both were raised in Lawrence. Clinton retired after 40 years from FMC, now ICL, in 1991. Billie worked at Sears and then became a nurse in 1988. She retired in 1994.
They have a daughter, Connie Bishop, Brandon, Fla.; a son, Sonny Laughlin and wife Roxanne, Lecompton; four granddaughters, Kim Johnson, Kristie Vitale, Paula Hawk and Michelle Spiess; four great-grandchildren, Chance and Chastity Johnson, and Abigayle and Ethan Spiess; and a great-great-grandson, Kesan Sanders.
Congratulatory wishes were sent to the couple from family and friends.
