Dave and Debbie May, Perry, announce the engagement of their son, Andrew Sindorf, Lawrence, to Kristin McJunkin, Pickens, S.C.
The future bride is the daughter of Benny and Joy McJunkin, Pickens. She is a 2006 graduate of Pickens High School. She attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She is majoring in computer science and communications at Southern Wesleyan University and plans to graduate in December 2009.
The future groom is a 2004 graduate of Eudora High School. He attended Johnson County Community College and Oklahoma Wesleyan University. He plans to major in biology education and pre-law in the future.
The couple plan a June 7, 2009, wedding at Lake Hartwell in Seneca, S.C.

Page and Monte Alexander
Monte and Page Alexander will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in Kansas City, Mo., with a family celebration in November.
Monte Alexander and Page Henderson were married on Oct. 25, 1958, at Hyde Park Christian Church in Kansas City, Mo.
Monte served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1954. He retired from Hallmark Cards Inc. in Kansas City, Mo., in 1992, after 38 years.
Page worked for Western Union Telegraph in Kansas City, Mo., from 1955 to 1960. She is a homemaker.
Their children are Steven and Lisa Alexander, Topeka; and Kelly and Steven Babb, Clearwater.
They have six grandchildren.
The couple have lived in the Baldwin City area for 36 years.

Caroline and Tim Potochnik
Caroline Legler, Lawrence, and Tim Potochnik, Wichita, were married Sept. 13, 2008, at Danforth Chapel on the Kansas University campus, with the Rev. Scott Ludwick officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Kim Legler, West Des Moines, Iowa.
The groom is the son of John and Kim Potochnik, Wichita.
Maid of honor was Sarah Hayes. Best man was Jeremiah Williamson. Bridesmaids were Courtney Oliver, Jenny Potochnik, Katie Johnson and Peyton Prospere. Groomsmen were Jaron Anderson, Ian Legler, David Hall and Brian Allen. Ushers were Ben Legler and Jonathan Legler.
A reception was given at The Eldridge Extended in Lawrence.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from KU in May. She is the marketing and communications associate for Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, L.C. in Wichita.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Wichita Heights High School. He earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree in anthropology from KU in 2005. He is a property claims adjuster for Assurant Specialty Property in Wichita.
The couple reside in Wichita.

Cassidy Coffin, Tonganoxie, and Jesse Courter, Wellsville, were married Oct. 11, 2008, at Saint Joseph Hall on the University of Saint Mary campus in Leavenworth, with the Rev. Jeff Higbie officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Kim Coffin, McLouth.
The groom is the son of Jeff and Cindy Courter, Wellsville.
Maid of honor was Kristie Clark. Best man was Evan Broers. Bridesmaids were Hannah Slagle, Kimberly Sturgeon, Elizabeth Henderson and Emily Cox. Groomsmen were Jeremy Higbie, John Ingelhart, Levi Harn and Doug Montis. Flower girls were Reagan Clark, Zoe Clark and Baylee Wolfe. Ring bearers were Caden Hayes and Brennen Wolfe. Candle lighters were Sam Coffin and Grace Coffin. Ushers were Colt Coffin, Wyatt Coffin and Hunter Hayes. DJ was Clay Hughes. Acoustic guitars were played by Jeremy Higbie and Clay Hughes. Wedding coordinator was Sheryl Stemmons. Photographer was Becky Wolfe.
A reception followed at Saint Joseph Hall.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Tonganoxie High School. She attended Emporia State University. She is employed with Franklin County.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wellsville High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Emporia State in 2003. He is employed with Cerner Corp., Kansas City, Mo.
The couple reside in Wellsville.

Erica Hill and Mike Cordaro were married July 5, 2008, at the Waybury Inn in Middlebury, Vt., with the Rev. Augustus Jordan officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Justin and Barbara Hill, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of J.B. and Elizabeth Cordaro, Reston, Va.
Matrons of honor were Vanessa Johnson and Andrea Packard. Best man was Greg Cordaro. Groomsman was Sean Desmond. Flower girls were Katherine Johnson and Samantha Packard. Ring bearers were Matthew Johnson, Cameron Packard and Daniel Desmond.
A reception followed at the Waybury Inn.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a psychology degree from Middlebury College in 2000. She is employed as a nanny and private tutor.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of South Lakes High School in Reston. He earned an economics degree from Middlebury College in 2000 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management, in Glendale, Ariz., in 2008. He is a senior consultant for Hitachi Consulting.
The couple reside in Portland, Ore.
