Ellen Belot, Lawrence, and Kristoffer Roggemann, New Rochelle, N.Y., were married June 7, 2008, at a private estate in Lawrence, with the Rev. Marvin Henk officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Allen Belot and Lydia Belot, both of Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Peter and Barbara Roggemann, New Rochelle, N.Y.
Matron of honor was Lindsey Vail. Groomswoman of honor was Diana Roggemann. Maid of honor was Katy Belot. Junior maid of honor was Martha Belot. Bridesmaids were Candice Lahm, Emily Johnson, Jennifer Larson. Bridesmaid in spirit was the late Rhiannon Meier. Groomsmen were Justin Blejer, Brandon Sindos, Eric DeHart, Jonathon Juffe and Ricardo Ghibelini. Ushers were Nathan Vail and Andrew Orr. Readers were Kelly Dworak and Rebecca Young. Greeters were Briea Berry and Lindsay Muzzy. Bride's attendant was Elizabeth Soike. Photo guest book attendants were Avram Klein and Lara Swartzberg.
A reception followed at the estate.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2002 graduate of Drake University. She is a marketing manager at the corporate offices of Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, a subsidiary of Tesco.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of New Rochelle High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Southern California. He is the manager of international synch licensing for Rhino Records, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
The couple reside in Los Angeles.

Harold and Carole Hodges

Harold and Carole Hodges, Lawrence, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family surprise party on Sept. 20 at Montana Mike's in Lawrence.
The couple were married Sept. 25, 1958, in Topeka.
Harold is a semi-retired John Deere mechanic, and Carole retired in 1990 as a cook for Kansas University.
They have three children: Dean Hodges Jr., Lawrence; Cindy Hilt, Lawrence; and DeeDee Bulter, Lee's Summit, Mo.
They have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The couple request no gifts.

The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Tonganoxie High School. He is employed with Leavenworth County.
The couple plan an Oct. 25, 2008, wedding in Leavenworth County.

The future bride is a 2008 graduate of Free State High School. She is attending Johnson County Community College for a nursing degree.
The future groom is also a 2008 graduate of Free State. He is employed with Laird Noller in Lawrence.
The couple plan a June 26, 2009, wedding at South Park in Lawrence.
