Coleman

Douglas and Mary Jo Coleman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Feb. 16 at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Kansas City, Mo.
Doug Coleman and Mary Jo Traynor were married Feb. 15, 1958, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo.
Douglas is a Kansas University graduate.
Their children are Katie Coleman, Overland Park; Chris Coleman, Lawrence; Nancy Roe, Little Rock, Ark.; Andy Coleman, Dothan, Ala.; Susan Pederson, Castle Rock, Colo.; Mike Coleman, Overland Park; and Liz Brenner, Castle Rock, Colo.
They have 17 grandchildren.
They reside in Panama City Beach, Fla.

Wedding

Elzea

Amy M. Boyer and Patrick W. Elzea were married May 26 at Steve's Place, with the Rev. Barb Norris officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth Jr. and Annette Boyer, Hutchinson.
The groom is the son of Mark and Susan Elzea, Lawrence.
Maids of honor were Jandi Smith and Megan Boyer. Best man was Seth Alford. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Holladay and Abby Coble. Junior bridesmaid was Megan Jantz. Groomsmen were Cookie Cookson and Michael Holladay. Junior groomsman was Austin Jantz.
Ushers were Benjamin Boyer, Anthony Boyer, Evan Elzea and Eric Elzea. The couple's dogs were the flower girl and ring bearer. Sara Unes was the vocalist.
The reception followed at Steve's Place.
The bride is a graduate of Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson. She is employed as an information technology coordinator with The World Company in Lawrence.
The groom is a graduate of Free State High School, Lawrence, and of Kansas University. He is employed at Pur-O-Zone Inc., Lawrence.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Kent and Jane Kesinger, Baldwin City, announce the engagement of their son, Jason Kesinger, to Kaci McMahon, both of Eudora.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Debbie McMahon, Garnett, and Frank McMahon and Katy Steinbacher, Lawrence. She is a graduate of Central Heights High School. She received a degree in finance and economics from Baker University in 2005. She is employed by Mid-America Bank, Baldwin City.
The future groom is a Baldwin High School graduate and attended Johnson County Community College. He is employed by Water One of Johnson County.
The couple plan an April 12 wedding at St. John's Catholic Church, Lawrence.

Mark and Janice Feaster, Topeka, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melaney Jaye Feaster, to Thomas Andrew King, both of Overland Park. The groom is the son of Philip and Eleanor King, Stilwell.
The future bride is a 1999 Garden City High School and a 2004 Kansas University graduate. She and her family are former residents of Lawrence. She plans to receive her Master of Business Administration from Baker University this year. She is employed as an accounting analyst with Favorite HealthCare Staffing, Overland Park.
The future groom is a 1999 Blue Valley High School and a 2004 KU graduate. He is employed with Farmers Insurance, Overland Park.
They plan an April 25 wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence.

Charles and Joan Dannenberg, Holton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Dannenberg, to Jason Kahle, both of Topeka. The groom is the son of Randall and Anne Kahle, Big Springs.
The future bride is a graduate of Holton High School. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Washburn University. She is working toward a master's degree in education from Baker University. She is employed as a traveling elementary music teacher with the Shawnee Heights school district in Tecumseh.
The future groom is a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology at the Kansas State University branch in Salina. He is employed as a project engineer for HF Rubber Machinery, Topeka. He is also the owner and president of Kahle Inc. in Lawrence.
The couple plan a June 28 wedding at Holton Evangel United Methodist Church.

Walkiewicz and Richardson

Earl and Teresa Richardson, Lawrence, and Bill and Carman Walkiewicz, Crystal Lake, Ill., announce the engagement of their children, Aimee Richardson and Ryan Walkiewicz, both of Lawrence.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Free State High School. She received an undergraduate degree from Kansas University in 2005. She plans to receive a juris doctorate from KU School of Law in May.
The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Christian Liberty Academy, Arlington Heights, Ill. He received an undergraduate degree from Truman State University in 2004 and a juris doctorate from KU School of Law in December 2007.
The couple plan a Sept. 27 wedding at Danforth Chapel on the KU campus.
