Dennis and Janice Bonfantine, Albuquerque, N.M., and R.A. and Terry Edwards, Hutchinson, announce the engagement of their children, Shelly Bonfantine, Albuquerque, and Roy Edwards, Boulder, Colo.
The future bride received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, and is working in marketing for her family's business, Kellys restaurant.
The future groom graduated from Kansas University and is the men's head golf coach at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He was the men's and women's assistant golf coach at KU from 2004 to 2006.
The couple plan a July 7, 2007, wedding in Albuquerque.

Bill and Jackie Hauber, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their son, Jeff Hauber, Lawrence, to Laurie Shelton, Manhattan, the daughter of Dennis and Cindy Shelton, Salina.
The future bride graduated from Salina South High School and received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Kansas State University and a Master of Science in school psychology from Emporia State University. She is employed as a school psychologist for the Manhattan-Ogden school district. The future groom graduated from Lawrence High School and received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Kansas University. He is employed as an electrical engineer at Westar Energy in Topeka.
The couple plan a July 28, 2007, wedding at First Christian Church in Manhattan.

Everson and Merkle
Rachel Danielle Merkle, Grandview, Mo., and Bradley Wayne Everson, Lawrence, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Frank and Robyn Merkle, Grandview. The future groom is the son of James Everson and Vicki Everson, both of Lawrence.
Rachel graduated from Grandview High School and DeVry University. She is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Baker University.
Bradley graduated from Lawrence High School and DeVry University. He is pursuing an MBA at Baker University.
The couple plan a May 19, 2007, wedding in Paola.

Kelly Froehlich, Lawrence, and Jeff Hill, Overland Park, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Terry James Froehlich, Algona, Iowa, and Terry Lynn Hinz, Topeka. The future groom is the son of Roger and Norma Hill, Shawnee.
Kelly graduated from Lebo High School and is a 1999 graduate of Highland Community College. She is employed as a cosmetologist at Lada Salon and Spa in Lawrence.
Jeff graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and Kansas University. He is employed as sales manager at Freightquote.com.
The couple plan an April 28, 2007, wedding at Danforth Chapel on the KU campus.

Keane
Maria-Teresa "Tess" Wisler and Robert Ryan Keane were married on Oct. 14, 2006, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. John Schmeidler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James L. Wisler, Lawrence, and Judith Augustine, Kansas City, Kan. The groom is the son of Robert E. and Maryann Keane, Lansing.
The maid of honor was Cassie Weatherwax. The matron of honor was Dawn Counter. The best man was Patrick Keane. Bridesmaids were Simone Clements, Hilary Velandia, Charity Wisler, Katie Coonfield, Jenny Fann and Alisha Barker. Groomsmen were Myles Doyle, Jeffrey Richtor, Logan Burnett, Chris Lebeau, Mac Wisler, Mike Wisler and Camilo Velandia.
The flower girl was Ada Wisler. Ring bearers were Nathaniel Counter and Miles Coonfield.
A reception was given at Maceli's.
The bride graduated from Free State High School and is employed at Wisler Law Office in Lawrence and Thomson West Legal Publishing.
The groom graduated from Leavenworth High School and is employed at Community Relations.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
Anniversary
Oel-schlaeger
Leo and Carolyn Oel-schlaeger, Linwood, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner for immediate family and their wedding party on Sunday.
Leo Oelschlaeger and Carolyn Hiett were married March 3, 1957, in Bonner Springs. Leo was a self-employed soil conservation contractor and farmer until retiring in 2003. Carolyn is a homemaker.
Their children are David and Debbie Oelschlaeger, Linwood, and Martha Oelschlaeger, Lawrence. They have one grandchild.
The couple request no gifts.
