Dale and Angie Lewis, Baldwin, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kyla, to Grant Meisenheimer, son of Mike and Wendi Meisenheimer, Baldwin.
The future bride and groom are 2004 graduates of Baldwin High School and attend Emporia State University. Kyla is pursuing a degree in elementary education, and Grant is majoring in graphic design.

The future groom graduated from Lawrence High School in 1999. He is employed as a stock handler at Hallmark Cards in Lawrence.

The future bride is the daughter of Gary Bryant, Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Johannah Bryant, Lawrence. The future groom is the son of Owen Maier, Wichita, and Patricia Loun, Yakima, Wash.
Sarah graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in Topeka and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Kansas University. She works as a registered nurse at Olathe Women's Center.
Andrew graduated from Northeast Magnet High School in Wichita and received bachelor's degrees in human biology and nursing from KU. He is a registered nurse on the intensive care unit at the KU Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
The couple plan an April 28, 2007, wedding at Circle S Ranch in Lawrence.

The future groom is a 1997 graduate of Tonganoxie High School and is employed by the city of Lawrence.

Janet Kay Satterlee and Michael Lynn Seelhoff were married Aug. 26, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Marcus McFaul officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Neil and Rita Satterlee, Ottawa. The groom is the son of Lloyd and Marilyn Seelhoff, Syracuse, Neb.
Matron of honor was Samantha Black. Best man was Rich Hillman. Bridesmaids were Sara Marsh, Shandi Stallman, Anne Johnson and Makayla White. Groomsmen were Shawn Maloy, Kevin Herrmann, Drew Beers and Kurt Bartling.
Ushers were Brent Satterlee and Scott Hillman. Guest book attendant was Kim Romary. The wedding coordinator was Dottie Nordlund. Reception attendants were Dava Cooper, Bethany Lasher, Ginger Boring and Melisa Lord.
A reception followed at the church.
The bride is a graduate of Ottawa High School and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University. She received a master's degree in management from Baker University. She is senior manager of chapter services for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
The groom is a graduate of Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in accountancy and a master's degree in professional accountancy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a tax manager for Dana F. Cole and Co.
The couple reside in Omaha.

Marika Berkley Spurgeon and Adam Cameron Taylor were married Sept. 16, 2006, at South Park in Lawrence with Judge Jack Murphy officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John and Karla Spurgeon, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Steve and Sandi Taylor, Bloomington, Minn.
Maid of honor was Brenna Spurgeon. Best man was Josh Hammond. Bridesmaids were Cassidy Carter, Angela Cherry and Amanda Houle. Groomsmen were Steve Taylor, Alex Taylor and Patrick Spurgeon.
Readers were Angela Cherry and Lindsey Hammond. Flower girl was Emily Taylor. Ring bearer was Tres Taylor. Wedding and reception assistants were Rachel and Rebekah Berkley, Dave Spurgeon, Jeff and Denise Berkley, and Karen Deckert.
A reception followed at Alvamar Golf and Country Club.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Free State High School. She graduated in 2004 from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and served in Americorps in 2004-06. She is a school match coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities in St. Paul, Minn.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Bloomington and a 2003 graduate of Drake University. He is an e-marketing specialist for Securian Financial Group in St. Paul.
The couple reside in White Bear Lake, Minn.

Danny is a 1999 graduate of Cactus High School in Glendale, Ariz. He received a bachelor's degree in education in 2004 from KU, where he lettered in football in 2002-03. He is employed as coordinator of professional societies for the KU Alumni Association.
