Hannah Peterson and Tanner Lacy
Hannah Peterson, Lawrence, and Tanner Lacy, St. Francis, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Grant Peterson and Debbie Peterson, both of Lawrence. She is a 2007 graduate of Lawrence High School and a sophomore studying for an English education degree at Tabor College in Hillsboro.
The future groom is the son Les and Jane Lacy, St. Francis. He graduated from high school in 2003 and from North West Kansas Technical College in 2005. He is also a sophomore at Tabor College and is studying Christian ministry.
The couple plan a fall 2009 wedding.

Bobby and Karen Martin announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Martin, all of Meriden, to Daniel Vannicola, Lecompton.
The future bride is a 2007 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and a 2008 graduate of Kaw Area Technical School. She is attending Allen County Community College and is a human resources clerk at the VA in Topeka.
The future groom is the son of Phillip and Gayle Vannicola, Lecompton. He is a 2003 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High and Kaw Area Technical School, and a 2004 graduate of Universal Technical Institute in Houston. He is the shop foreman at Heritage Tractor in Topeka.
The couple plan a May 30, 2009, wedding at Stull United Methodist Church.

Andrea Chao and Eric Allen, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Ray and Beth Chao, Lawrence. She is a 2005 graduate of Lawrence High School and is a senior at Kansas University. She plans to graduate in May and attend the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies early childhood education program this summer. She is employed by Raintree Montessori School.
The future groom is the son of O.J. Allen and Amy Rinke and Mike Rinke, all of Lawrence. He is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School and is a senior majoring in accounting in the School of Business at KU. He plans to graduate in December and is employed by Backyard Burgers.
The couple plan a June 6, 2009, wedding at Danforth Chapel at KU.
