Bob and Alandra Rice, Eudora, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Eudora City Hall, 4 E. Seventh St. Friends and family are invited to attend.
The couple were married Feb. 4, 1966.
They have two daughters, Kylee Christiansen and Kirsten Boyd, both of Eudora; and two granddaughters.
The couple request no gifts.
Richard and Karen Ice, Lawrence, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a cruise to Nova Scotia with friends later this year and a barn party with friends and family in the spring.
They were married Feb. 6, 1966, at Stull. Richard graduated from Lawrence High School and continues to operate the family farm. Karen graduated from Lecompton High School. She is the clothing merchandise buyer for KU Bookstores.
Their children are Doug and Angie Andrew, Lawrence; Rocky and Becky Swearingen, Lawrence; and Frank and Heather Ice, Lawrence. They have four grandchildren.

His grandparents are Hedy Jewell, Papillion, Neb., and the late Marvin Jewell.
