The future groom is the son of Louis and Linda Jaimez, Lawrence. He is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School and is employed by Hamm Construction in Perry.
The couple plan an Aug. 8, 2009, wedding at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University.

The future bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural journalism and communications from Kansas State University in 2005. She is the health and safety marketing director for the American Red Cross Douglas County Chapter.
The future groom is the son of Bill and Melinda Bellinger, Waverly, and Vicki Vankooten, Piggott, Ark. He is a graduate of Central Heights High School. He attended Pittsburg State University. He is a corporal with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The couple plan an Aug. 15, 2009, wedding at First Christian Church in Lawrence.

The couple plan a March 14, 2009, wedding in Eldorado Springs.

William and Carolyn Ball and Danny and Judy Miller, all of Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Sue Miller, to Eric Williamson, both of Fort Worth, Texas.
The future bride is a 1999 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned an education degree with a minor in English from Texas Christian University in 2003. She is an English teacher and the heat swim coach at a Fort Worth high school.
The future groom is the son of John and Virginia Pizzuto, Lock Haven, Pa., and Randy Williamson, Farrandsville, Pa. He earned an associate degree in civil engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in labor studies and industrial relations from Penn State University, and a Master of Arts degree in management and leadership from Webster University. He serves as a commanding officer for the U.S. Marine Corps and is stationed at the Naval Air Station in Fort Worth.
The couple plan a July 25, 2009, wedding at Robert Carr Chapel at TCU in Forth Worth.

The bride is the daughter of Darrell and Debbie Huff, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Mark and Mary Jane Mangino, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Drew Huff. Best man was Andrew Fiorante. Bridesmaids were Katie Huff, Samantha Hardy, Krystal Hanna, Jessica Ziegler and Jaime Witt. Groomsmen were David Hardy, Dustin Huff, Derek Huff, Garrett Owings and Troy Morgan. Honorary flower girl was Gabriella Hardy.
A reception was given at Alvamar Country Club.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a dental hygiene degree from Johnson County Community College in 2008 and is a registered dental hygienist in Lawrence.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of LHS. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Washburn University in 2008 and is a graduate student and football coach at Kansas University.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Alicia Rieder, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of David and Beth LeDeaux, Galveston, and the late Mark Anderson.
Maid of honor was Vicki Collie-Akers. Best man was Daniel Torres. Bridesmaids were Jill Ebmeier, Jill Fugett Torchia and Jenelle Anderson. Groomsmen were Daniel Rieder, Jeff Schenck and Jeff Falls. Violinist was Heather Hart Lessig. Reader was Amber Joppa.
A reception followed at the Elk Ridge Ranch.
The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Kansas University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. She is a process engineer with Flint Hills Resources in Corpus Christi.
The groom is a graduate of Ball High School in Galveston. He earned a Bachelor of Science in degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station. He is a process engineer with Lyondell Chemical in Corpus Christi.
The couple reside in Corpus Christi.

The bride is the daughter of George and Susan Gurley, Vinland.
The groom is the son of Jerry Percak, Hooper Bay, Alaska, and Karen Percak, Park Ridge.
Maid of honor was Arian Fischer. Best man was Eric Percak. Bridesmaids were Paula Fulbright, Tanya Koch, Jennifer Rogers and Joanna Schenke. Groomsmen were Christopher Croxton, Stevan Dobric, John Williams and Daniel Jones. Ushers were Cern Van Newkirk, George Gurley III, David Priest and Cindy Serikaku. Guest book attendants were Alexander Fischer and James Fischer.
A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of The Barstow School in Kansas City, Mo. and a 2006 graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. She is a first-year law student at Tulane University in New Orleans.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Maine South High School in Park Ridge, and a 2004 graduate of Pomona College. He earned a medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago in 2008. He is a resident in internal medicine at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans.
The couple reside in New Orleans.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Captain and Kitty Gray, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of John and Marilyn Evans, Van Buren, Ark.
Maid of honor was Megan Gray. Best man was Paul Checkeye. Flower girl was Sophia Gray Kenyon.
A reception also followed at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Barstow High School. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre from Stephens College in 2000. She is the owner of Core:form Pilates Studio in Lawrence.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Kansas University in 1998. He is an environmental scientist with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Joanne Okamoto and Thomas J. Munger III, Anchorage, Alaska, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 20 with their children and their families and special grade-school friend, Karen Heeb, at the Plaza III restaurant in Kansas City, Mo.
The couple were married Dec. 20, 1958, Miami, Okla.
Joanne and Tom first met at the First Baptist Church in Lawrence. They played instruments in the Lawrence High School band and were high school sweethearts. Tom graduated in 1958 and Joanne graduated in 1959. In 1962, they moved to Kansas City where they worked and attended classes at University of Missouri-Kansas City. Upon graduation from UMKC dental school, Tom volunteered to serve in the U.S. Air Force. In August 1968, they moved to Alaska, where Tom served as a dentist at Elmendorf AFB until January 1972. Since then, Tom has been a general dentist in Alaska with offices in Anchorage and Homer.
Their children are Jonathan, Olathe, and Stephanie Bessent and husband Tony, Lawrence.
They have two grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
