We love Tortas Jalisco. Great value for the fantastic food. It is nearby our home, so the location is a major plus not having to fight for a parking spot. The staff is always friendly and will answer any questions about the menu. The green salsa is spicy and the red is mild but both have real flavor unlike some places. Try a mexican white russian!!!
They have the best tortilla chips and the food is usually great, but the service is the worst in town. 3 out of the 4 times that we have been there in the year, it has taken 10-15 minutes just for them to take our drink orders (even when they are not busy). They don't refill drinks take your orders or bring the check. The last time we were there (about a month ago) we asked for high chairs and we were told that they were by the door. Yes we had to find them and get them ourselves.
This is true Mexican food! I love the tamales and the posole. There's nothing better than a bowl of TJ's posole on a cold winter day. Chips are homemade. Much better than anyone else's. Green salsa rocks! Their fish tacos are great too.
