Harper Edy Leacox, 2 1/2yrs. While visiting Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Fl this past weekend, my daughter, who knows her parents are KU Jayhawk fans, screamed in excitement "mommy mommy, oh my gosh the jayhawks are here!" and ran and attacked them. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was Woody Woodpecker, but it looks like we have a Jayhawk in the making!!!

Kansas Association of Retired School Personnel members present facsimilie checks to Gov. Sebelius in the amounts of $6,040,000.00 and $1,096,000.00 representing volunteer hours provided in 2006. These checks represent the amount of statewide volunteer hours by KARSP members that were given back to the community.
