KU’s Hall Center for the Humanities appoints associate director

Sarah Bishop has been appointed the associate director of the Hall Center for the Humanities at the University of Kansas.

She had previously served as interim associate director from November 2017 to June 2018.

Prior to coming to the University of Kansas, Bishop was the chief communications officer for the Lawrence Arts Center. She also served as the director of the 2015 and 2016 Free State Festivals.

Marta Caminero-Santangelo, interim director of the Hall Center, said in a news release that Bishop has her finger on the pulse of what the community wants to see in terms of meaningful, relevant humanities public programming.
