“Home and Away” host Lori Carson this week visits House Parts, a new store on Massachusetts Street specializing in distinctive adornments for the home.

More than a month before Christmas, owner and designer Beverly Dick has decked the halls with a dazzling display of festive holiday decor. Viewers will find a mix of sophisticated, whimsical and traditional trimmings for personal decorating or gift giving. Sparkling silver and white snowflakes and icicles provide an elegant shimmer, while collections of fairies and elves by Mark Roberts add a bit of holiday enchantment.

A veteran decorator and retailer, Dick believes the store fills a unique niche in Lawrence.

“We felt there wasn’t another store like it in the area,” Dick says.

Home and Away premieres Mondays at 6:30 p.m. on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6. Each show replays at 9:30 p.m. Monday; 9 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday; 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday; 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 10:30 a.m. Friday; 10 a.m. Saturday; and 9 p.m. Sunday.
