Douglas County Master Gardeners will be hosting its annual native plant sale this weekend.

The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, at the Open Pavilion at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper St. There will be 100 varieties of plants that are locally grown.

“Our plants are all native to Kansas and are true natives, not cultivars,” the Master Gardeners website said.

The full list of available plants can be viewed at https://dgemgks.org/2026-native-plants-pdf/. These plants will be available for $5 each, or people can purchase three plants for $14. Proceeds from the plant sale will support Douglas County Master Gardeners and fund garden-related grants for Douglas County, the website said.
