Workshop scheduled for herb gardens

Kansas City, Mo. — A workshop for those interested in herb gardens, “Planning and Planting an Herb Garden,” is set for 10 a.m.-noon April 17 at John Wornall House Museum, 6115 Wornall Road.

Registration is limited to 20 participants. The fee is $15 for nonmembers and $10 for museum members. The deadline to register is April 12.

Violet show, sale set for April 23-25

Kansas City, Mo. — The African Violet Show and Sale, sponsored by Unpredictable’s African Violet Society, will be April 23-25 at Blue Ridge Mall, 4200 Blue Ridge Blvd.

Times for the event are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. April 23, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. April 24 and noon-5 p.m. April 25.
