Baker University quarterback Truman Juelsgaard received a player of the week honor on Monday in the Heart of America Conference.

Juelsgaard, a junior at No. 18 Baker (2-0) and a Lawrence High alumnus, was named Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against William Penn on Saturday.

He went 22-of-28 passing for 261 yards and four touchdowns against the Statesmen and ran for 86 yards in the Wildcats’ 43-21 road win.

Other players of the week included Graceland’s Zion Trimboli (Defensive Player of the Week) and Missouri Baptist’s Joseph White (Special Teams Player of the Week).
