Haskell Indian Nations University volleyball player Alaina Dugi was named the Continental Athletic Conference’s Defender of the Week for her performance during the last week of August.

Dugi, a freshman from Tuba City, Arizona, had 98 digs across four matches, including 30 in a 3-2 loss to Cottey College on Aug. 31.

Other CAC volleyball players of the week included Florida National University’s Layla Cortez (Attacker of the Week) and Florida College’s Madison Lee (Setter of the Week).
