Sheriff’s Office asks for public’s help locating missing Overland Park man whose car was found at Clinton Lake

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has asked for the public’s help on Friday in locating a missing Overland Park man whose vehicle was found at Clinton Lake.

The 53-year-old man, David Kyle Kempker, was reported missing by family members from Overland Park on March 19, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Deputies located Kempker’s vehicle 24 hours later at Clinton State Park.

Deputies concluded an extensive search at Clinton State Park Friday afternoon but were unable to find Kempker and have asked anyone who may have information about his whereabouts to contact the office at 785-841-0007.
