Members of the Lawrence Jewish Community Congregation prepare handmade blintzes for the 2018 Blintz Brunch.

The Lawrence Jewish Community Congregation’s annual Blintz Brunch will be a grab-and-go event this year because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead of attending an in-person gathering, people will be able to order cheese blintzes, babka, rugelach and challah on the congregation’s website, https://ljcc.shulcloud.com/, between Oct. 4 and Oct. 22. Then they can pick up their orders on Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the JCC center, 917 Highland Drive.

“We love serving blintzes and other ‘Jewish’ foods to our community,” a congregation spokesperson said in a news release. “We hope to have an in-person brunch next year.”
