Because of technical difficulties, the Lawrence City Commission has postponed its meeting that was originally scheduled to take place Tuesday.

City spokesman Porter Arneill said the city experienced complications with its live stream on YouTube and therefore postponed the meeting until a later date. Arneill said an announcement would be made once the new date for the meeting is set.

The commission was scheduled to consider an incentives request from the Penn Street Lofts project and funding for the bicycle boulevard planned for 21st Street, among other items. The full agenda is available on the city’s website, Lawrenceks.org.

The city had asked residents to participate in the meeting virtually, if they were able to do so, using temporary meeting procedures put in place to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
