A body found at Clinton State Park Friday morning has been identified as 26-year-old Lawrence resident Michael Packard, according to Clinton State Park Manager, Dale Schwiger.
Packard’s body was discovered at East 700 and North 1400 roads on the Clinton State Park grounds at around 9 a.m, said Kim Murphree, a spokeswoman for the Lawrence Police Department. Foul play is not suspected, she said.
Packard’s friends had filed a missing person’s report with police Friday morning after Packard missed his weekly DJ shift at The Bottleneck’s “Feel Good” dance party Thursday evening.
Drew James, marketing director for The Granada Theater, said Packard was last seen Tuesday at the Granada during a New Year’s Eve event. James said Packard was employed on the Granada’s door staff, but was not working the night of his disappearance.

RIP
Beware of this North Dakota type weather. It can take out a human being unsuspectingly.
Frostbite can also come quicker and somewhat unsuspectingly.
This weather is more powerful than most of us are aware.

Does anyone know what happened to him? For that matter what happened to the guy they found a week or so ago too?
