Lawrence police on Friday arrested a man wanted in connection with a series of burglaries in recent months.
Cody A. Barnes, 18, was arrested near 23rd Street and Haskell Avenue about 9 p.m., according to jail logs. He was taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated burglary, burglary of a vehicle, criminal use of a financial card and two counts of theft. His bond was set at $50,000.
A called-in tip led to his arrest after officials issued a warrant on Thursday, Sgt. Trent McKinley said.
Earlier this week, Lawrence police named Barnes as a suspect in burglaries for which two other 18-year-old Lawrence men, Ronnie E. Taylor and Markcus T. Sanders, have been arrested and charged.
Barnes remained in custody Saturday afternoon.

The poor boy is as good at hiding, as he is at burglary. I think he should find another line of work...
