A 27-year-old Lawrence man was charged Friday in Douglas County District Court with burglary, theft and criminal damage stemming from an Oct. 21 incident at Weaver’s Department Store, 901 Massachusetts St. Manuel B. Garcia is accused of breaking a window at the store and stealing multiple items just after midnight on Oct. 21. Garcia is free on a $3,250 bond. His next court date is Nov. 28.
