The Harlem Wizards exhibition basketball team will play the Perry-Lecompton Hoop Troop at 7 p.m. March 30 in the Perry-Lecompton High School gym in Perry. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door; advance tickets are available in Lawrence at Free State Auto, 2103 W. 26th St.

Refreshments and souvenirs will be sold at the game.

The Harlem Wizards are known for their athleticism, tricks, and fancy teamwork and ball-handling prowess.

The Hoop Troop features former Kansas University basketball player Jeff Hawkins as well as Perry-Lecompton Elementary Principal Connie Thornton. Others on the team include Pat Hupfauf, Brandi Turner, Erin Damme and Jill Bradney.
